Veronica Mars looks to be either cancelled or undergoing a revamping which would be set in her freshman year at the FBI Academy (source - of shoddy repute to be sure). Seriously; if people wouldn't watch the fantastic thing that the show is now, why would they tune into a CSI Junior?

Man...Firefly,Arrested Development, and now Veronica Mars! I'm gonna blame some sort of evil corporate assassin, who loves shows like 'Survivor' and '7th Heaven' and hates all of the good shows. jerk.

Seth: I think it's more a problem with the goal of network TV (selling ads) and the way ratings are calculated than it is some evil dude sitting in a skyscraper somewhere, cancelling shows at will. But what can you do? Even major fan campaigns have very little effect.
